We think of ‘the internet’ as our online space where we can read news, watch funny videos, send messages to our friends – this all happens thanks to lots of computers and devices like phones being connected together via cables or wifi. The ‘Internet of Things’ describes a network of other devices, which we might not immediately think of as ‘computers’, which can also share data via the internet… like your fridge!
